Each Intended Parent is matched with a Case Manager who coordinates behind the scenes of the surrogacy process while keeping you well-informed. They will orchestrate screenings, appointments, travel, payments and support you and your GC on your journey into parenthood.

Only the best surrogates
Pitter Patter has a rigorous screening process dedicated to ensuring that your gestational carrier is well qualified. We accept less than 3% of the women who apply to become gestational carriers. When you meet your gestational carrier, you can be assured that she has already committed 1-3 months to screening, including drug testing, OB clearance, and medical records review.

Your Intake Specialist will tell you about Pitter Patter, our experience, passion, and program. We will get to know you and discuss your needs, expectations, projected costs, and next steps.
If Pitter Patter is the right fit you will complete your consent forms and an agency agreement. Your Case Manager will also work with you to create a profile for your future gestational carrier to learn about you.
Step Two: Matching

We will match you with potential gestational carriers compatible with your personality, expectations, and needs using our personalized process.
Once you have seen each other's profiles, If you both agree, we will schedule a match meeting either in person or by video, and your doctor will review her medical records.

Medical Screening - Includes labs, a consultation, and a uterine ultrasound to ensure that your gestational carrier is healthy and ready for pregnancy.
Psychological Screening -the psychologist who will go over the surrogacy process with your gestational carrier and make sure that she is prepared for the journey ahead.

A strong, properly executed legal contract is necessary to outline the surrogacy arrangements so that everyone's rights, roles, and responsibilities are clear. Your lawyer will draft an agreement designed to protect you and your rights as a parent and review it with you; your gestational carrier will also discuss the contract with her lawyer.
Escrow funding is also completed.

Your GC will take medications to prepare for pregnancy and embryo transfer. After transfer, your gestational carrier will take a pregnancy test in 10-12 days. Remember, no matter what the outcome Pitter Patter is with you every step, offering you and your gestational carrier support and advice.
