Growing your family through surrogacy can take twelve months or more, and while not all costs will come up at once, the majority of funds will be due within six months of starting the process. The average cost for a surrogacy journey is $90,000 to $150,000. That amount of money can be daunting for many parents, but there are options to create a more affordable surrogacy journey. Prices vary depending on many factors, including which services you need, your gestational carrier's benefits package, the clinic you select, how many transfers you need, and even your clinic's protocol. In addition to cost-saving measures, there may be financing available for your journey through loans and grants.

Our grants:
Pitter Patter proudly offers two agency scholarships annually. To apply, please click on the link below. Entries are due between January 25th and December 31st. Recipients will be selected by our committee and notified on January 24th. We will offer a $2,500 discount on our agency fee for any qualified program applicants not selected.
We also give a $10,000 grant each year to be used for fertility care, surrogacy, or adoption. To apply, please click on the link below. The recipient will be notified on August 30th, applications are accepted August 31st - August 1st of each year.
Financing your Journey
LOANS
There are lenders that specialize in providing loans to couples undergoing fertility treatments and pursuing surrogacy. Loans usually rely on your credit score and are required to be repaid. Some common loan options are:
- Home equity loans (using your home as collateral)
- Borrowing from 401(k) plans
- Credit cards
- Traditional bank loans

Grants are also available and do not require repayment like loans. Each program has different requirements. Some options are:
